Astronomical autumn will officially begin in the UAE on Wednesday, September 23, marking the end of peak summer heat as temperatures begin a gradual decline, local media reported. The autumnal equinox will occur at 4:05 am local time, initiating a seasonal transition that will see average daytime highs drop from around 39°C in late September to 31°C by early November, according to the Emirates Astronomical Society.
While residents will not feel an immediate cooling, the initial shift will bring higher humidity and increased chances of early morning fog, with more comfortable weather and winter cloud formations expected to develop from mid-October.
