In a strategic move to boost the local property market amid regional tensions, Dubai authorities have removed the Dh750,000 minimum property value requirement for two-year residency visas. Under the new 2026 guidelines, property owners can qualify for residency regardless of the purchase price, provided the property is habitable. Joint owners must still maintain a minimum share value of Dh400,000 per person to be eligible for the permit. Source: Dubai Land Department / Dubai Media Office
