du Pay, the digital payments arm of UAE telecom operator du, has announced plans to launch a new subscription model for its users. The strategic move aims to transition the platform from a standard money transfer service into a broader lifestyle and engagement fintech product.

According to Roberto Mancone, CEO of du Pay, the upcoming subscription model will be introduced at a minimum cost. Subscribers will receive continuous benefits—even during periods when they do not send remittances—including cashback on card usage, selected free international transfers, and discounts on telecommunications products such as SIM cards.

Mancone highlighted that providing this kind of consistent, integrated value is a proven strategy among global telecom providers to win over and retain customers in a highly competitive digital payments landscape.
