Bahrain declares official public holiday for Prophet Mohammed’s birthday

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, issued a circular on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, regarding the upcoming religious holiday.

According to the announcement, Tuesday, August 25, 2026, will be an official holiday for all ministries, state departments, and public institutions across the Kingdom to commemorate the birthday of Prophet Mohammed.
