Dubai Retail announces new 1.3 million sqft Skylight Mall opening on Al Khail Road

Dubai residents will soon have a massive new lifestyle and shopping hub, as Dubai Retail officially unveils plans for Skylight Mall. Scheduled to open in 2027 along Al Khail Road, the new super-regional destination will span an impressive 1.3 million square feet of gross leasable area (GLA) and house more than 360 stores.

Strategically located to serve surrounding residential hubs—including Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT), Jumeirah Islands, and The Springs—Skylight Mall aims to combine everyday convenience with expansive entertainment. The destination will feature a contemporary architectural design built around fluid, interconnected spaces that seamlessly blend shopping, dining, and social experiences for both local residents and citywide visitors.

Upon completion, Skylight Mall will become the latest major addition to Dubai Retail’s expansive portfolio, which already operates 58 malls and lifestyle destinations across the emirate, including Bluewaters, JBR, and Ibn Battuta Mall.
