Ticket sales have officially opened for Etihad Rail’s passenger service connecting Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with one-way fares starting at Dh39, local media reported. Scheduled operations are set to begin on September 30, linking Dubai’s new Al Yalayis Station with Abu Dhabi’s Mohamed Bin Zayed City Station in approximately 64 minutes. Located near Jumeirah Golf Estates and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Al Yalayis Station includes an elevated pedestrian bridge connecting directly to the Dubai Metro Red Line for seamless transfers.

Bookings are available through Etihad Rail’s website and mobile application, offering Comfort Class seats from Dh39 and Premium Class tickets from Dh109, which include wider seating and refreshments. The service represents the next major milestone in the UAE’s passenger rail rollout following the launch of the Abu Dhabi to Fujairah route in June, which recorded more than 70,000 ticket bookings during its initial phase.
