The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has introduced a pilot program for the digital attestation of electronic documents, scheduled to take effect on Monday, April 27. As reported by Gulf News, the new service allows users to verify digital documents—including those with QR codes and barcodes—through integrated smart channels and UAE missions abroad. By streamlining what has traditionally been a multi-step process, the initiative aims to cut service delivery time and promote a more proactive, paperless digital ecosystem for residents and businesses.
