The UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF) has officially adopted the ‘Aani’ instant payment platform and the ‘Jaywan’ domestic card scheme for the payment of federal service fees and fines. As the first federal entity to implement this initiative, the ministry aims to accelerate the government’s digital transformation and provide faster, more flexible payment options for customers.
Undersecretary Younis Haji AlKhoori highlighted that this strategic move aligns with the UAE leadership’s vision for a secure, sustainable digital economy. The integration of these Central Bank-backed platforms is expected to streamline revenue collection and reduce operating costs while maintaining the highest security standards.
