UAE outdoor work restrictions end as summer policy concludes

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) officially concluded its 2026 Occupational Heat Stress Prevention Policy on September 15. Outdoor work between 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM resumed across the United Arab Emirates, concluding the annual three-month summer restriction designed to protect laborers from direct sunlight and severe heat. MoHRE noted that private sector compliance remained high, supported by over 12,000 designated rest stations across the country.
