A helicopter operated by Saudi Aramco crashed at approximately 6:00 a.m. in Ras Tanura, killing all 14 Saudi nationals on board. The Saudi Ministry of Energy confirmed the fatalities, expressed condolences, and announced that the relevant authorities have launched a full investigation to determine the exact cause of the tragic incident. The crash occurred shortly after Saudi Aramco had resumed crude oil loadings at the critical Ras Tanura export terminal, following a nearly four-month suspension. The terminal is a central component of Saudi Arabia’s domestic and international oil supply chain, handling a significant proportion of the Kingdom’s crude exports.
