Emirates Health Services (EHS) officially introduced the therapy at Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital, marking a significant advancement in local mental health care.
Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital is the first government healthcare facility in the country to offer this extended-release option. The new treatment protocol aims to significantly improve medication adherence, enhance the quality of life for patients, and provide long-term stability by reducing the burden of daily or monthly medicinal routines.
