Oman and Iran agree on framework for Strait of Hormuz maritime navigation

An Iranian official announced that a general framework of understanding regarding navigation through the Strait of Hormuz has been agreed upon between Iran and Oman.

The agreement is expected to address shipping routes, traffic management, and maritime services. While the final text and details will be announced soon, the framework aims to regulate transit and ensure safe passage through the vital global oil shipping chokepoint.
