Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior has issued a public warning against filming, publishing, or sharing information related to the interception of missiles and drones within the Kingdom.
The ministry clarified that these restrictions apply to recording or circulating footage of active aerial defense operations, as well as the locations where intercepted projectiles or their debris have fallen. The statement emphasized that individuals who photograph or disseminate such material expose themselves to legal liability, as sharing sensitive operational details can compromise national security.
While the ministry did not outline the specific legal penalties for violators, the directive instructs all members of the public—including citizens and foreign residents—to strictly comply with official guidelines and refrain from documenting or distributing interception footage across digital platforms.
