Houthis claim ballistic missile attacks on airports in Riyadh and Aden

Yemen’s Houthi group claimed on Wednesday that its forces launched a ballistic missile targeting King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.

In a statement posted on the social media platform X, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree asserted that the missile strike disrupted air traffic at the facility. In a separate announcement, the group claimed to have also targeted an area near the international airport in Aden, the seat of Yemen’s interim government.

The claims mark the latest in a series of reported aerial attacks aimed at critical infrastructure within the Kingdom and the broader region. The Saudi-led coalition has not yet issued a statement confirming the interceptions or any resulting impact on operations at either facility.
