The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned continued attacks by the Houthi group against civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia, as well as commercial shipping in the southern Red Sea and the Bab Al Mandab Strait.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) characterized the attacks as a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a direct threat to regional security and stability. The ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with the Kingdom in confronting actions that compromise its territorial integrity and the safety of its citizens and residents.

The diplomatic condemnation follows a recent escalation in reported regional security threats against critical infrastructure in the Gulf and vital commercial maritime transit corridors.
