Her Highness The Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, addressed a message of greetings to the nation on Saturday to mark Omani Women’s Day.

In her message, Her Highness praised the strength, wisdom, and dedication of Omani women across generations, highlighting their role as custodians of the nation’s heritage and a driving force behind its progress.

She emphasized that this year’s celebration carries particular significance following a new Royal Directive issued by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The directive allocates an additional seat for women in the Shura Council in each governorate. The Honourable Lady noted that this milestone affirms His Majesty’s confidence in the capabilities of Omani women and their essential role in shaping the country’s future.
