Indian expatriates in the UAE are advised to plan ahead as consular services for passports, visas, and attestations will undergo a five-day suspension later this month. The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi announced the brief operational pause to facilitate a seamless transition to a new outsourced service provider, Al Hind Tours and Travel LLC, which will assume full responsibility beginning July 1, 2026. Current providers BLS International and SGIVS Global will cease accepting new applications after June 25. While routine processing will halt, the embassy assured the public that vital emergency services will remain active, ensuring that urgent expatriate needs are met during this critical administrative upgrade.
