Kuwait CMA issues first overseas investment marketing license to Goldman Sachs

Kuwait’s Capital Markets Authority (CMA) has granted its first institutional marketing license for a collective investment scheme established outside the country to Goldman Sachs International. The move aligns with the CMA’s strategic goal of developing the local capital market and creating a regulatory environment that attracts foreign investment.

The license allows Goldman Sachs to market overseas investment schemes to professional clients in Kuwait, supporting Kuwait Vision 2035’s goal of building a diversified, innovation-driven economy.
