Oman denounces foreign recognition of Israeli sovereignty over Golan Heights

The Sultanate of Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued an official statement on Wednesday strongly denouncing Colombia’s decision to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.

Oman reiterated that the decision violates international law and United Nations Security Council Resolution 497 of 1981, reaffirming its steadfast support for Syria’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over all occupied lands.
