Speaking at a high-level event marking the International Day to Combat Hate Speech, Omar bin Said al Kathiri, Oman’s Permanent Representative to the UN, articulated the nation’s unwavering commitment to moderation and mutual respect under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. Emphasizing the urgent need for digital responsibility among youth, Oman showcased its domestic frameworks designed to protect cultural diversity and freedom of belief, urging the international community to address the root causes of division and build more inclusive societies.
