Qatar ranks among world’s highest in ITU ICT Development Index 2026

The Communications Regulatory Authority announced that Qatar achieved a score of 98.4 out of 100 in the ITU’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Development Index 2026.

Ranking sixth globally among 159 assessed economies, Qatar achieved maximum scores in Universal Connectivity. This milestone underscores the maturity of the nation’s digital ecosystem, supported by 99 percent 5G network coverage and 100 percent fiber coverage across the population.
