Qatar Stock Exchange index opens slightly lower amid sector fluctuations

The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index edged down by 4.55 points, or 0.05 percent, at the opening of Wednesday’s trading session to reach 10,022 points.

According to Qatar News Agency (QNA), declines in the insurance, telecommunications, and real estate sectors weighed on the index, while consumer goods, industrial, and banking sectors recorded gains with total turnover reaching QR 54.38 million in early trade.
