United States military authorities have enforced an “ironclad” maritime blockade in the Gulf of Oman, targeting vessels involved in trade with Iranian ports. As reported by Eurasia Review, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth confirmed that the blockade has already resulted in the diversion of 34 ships without incident. This ongoing military operation aims to restrict regional energy flows and has significantly increased pressure on maritime traffic passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
