Saudi Ministry of Human Resources honors Lulu Group for social empowerment initiatives

The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has formally recognized Lulu Group for its prominent role in national development and workforce enablement. At the closing ceremony of the Empowerment Forum for Social Security Beneficiaries in Riyadh, Lulu Hypermarket was officially honored as a key corporate driver of the platform’s long-term success. The award was presented by His Excellency Badr bin Ibrahim Al-Suwailem, Deputy Minister for Social Development, to Mohamed Haris, Director of Lulu Saudi Arabia, and Abdullah Hamad Al-Khabbabinah, General Manager of HR and Legal Affairs at Lulu Hypermarkets. The ministry lauded corporate initiatives that expand sustainable local employment, provide specialized vocational training, and guide citizens toward financial self-reliance. Mohamed Haris noted that the milestone underscores the success of public-private partnerships, adding that Lulu’s social programs remain strictly aligned with the core human capital mandates of Saudi Vision 2030.
