UAE telecoms operator du confirmed that voice calling services and mobile app functionality have been fully restored as of Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Thousands of customers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi reported network disruptions starting around 7:30 AM. In an official statement, the operator attributed the downtime to a “planned system update” designed to improve overall network performance. While standard voice calls were affected, internet-based services and messaging platforms remained operational throughout the morning.
