In response to escalating threats in the Red Sea, the Saudi-led Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen has carried out targeted military strikes against Houthi rebel sites. Major General Turki Al-Malki confirmed the operations, describing the Houthi attacks on commercial vessels as a severe threat to global shipping corridors. The coalition emphasized that the strikes were strictly aimed at legitimate military targets and that Yemeni ports, including Hodeidah, remain open for commercial shipping.
