Houthis claim missile attacks on Saudi Arabia’s Jizan region amid escalating conflict

Following recent Saudi-led coalition strikes in Yemen, Iran-backed Houthi rebels claimed they launched retaliatory missile attacks against the southern Saudi Arabian city of Jizan on Saturday. Residents reported hearing multiple explosions, and local civil defense agencies temporarily issued warnings for potential danger in Jizan and Yanbu. The Houthis stated the attacks targeted industrial areas, calling it a response to what they described as a dangerous escalation by Saudi forces. This flare-up represents a deepening of the broader Middle East conflict.
