Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, informed the National Assembly that 21,951 Pakistani nationals were deported from Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman, up to March 1, 2026.
The deportations were primarily due to violations of local laws, such as immigration breaches and other offenses. The Foreign Office stated it is actively engaging with the respective Gulf nations to ensure proper legal processes are followed and to address concerns regarding the deportees’ assets.
