The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has strongly condemned recent Israeli military incursions into Syrian territory, specifically targeting the southern governorates of Quneitra and Daraa. In a statement issued on Monday in Riyadh, GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi denounced the actions as a clear violation of Syria’s sovereignty and international law. The GCC warned that these operations represent a ‘dangerous escalation’ that threatens to increase regional tensions and undermine international efforts aimed at achieving peace. The six-member bloc reaffirmed its unwavering support for Syria’s security, territorial integrity, and stability.
