Two commercial vessels hit by projectiles near Oman’s Khasab

Maritime security risks near the Strait of Hormuz escalated after two commercial vessels were hit by unidentified projectiles approximately four nautical miles west of Khasab, Oman.nnAccording to the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), four projectiles struck the vessels, causing a fire on board one ship.
