flydubai and Air India launch interline partnership to expand UAE-India connectivity

Dubai-based carrier flydubai and Air India have launched a new interline partnership enabling passengers to connect across both airlines’ networks on a single ticket with through-checked baggage. Under the agreement, Air India customers gain access to 52 additional flydubai destinations across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Central Asia via Dubai. In return, flydubai passengers can connect to 69 Air India destinations through hubs in Delhi and Mumbai, linking travellers to major Indian tier-two cities as well as onward international routes across Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Australia.

The partnership comes ahead of the winter travel season, during which Air India and Air India Express plan to operate 272 weekly flights between India and the UAE starting October 26. Airline officials highlighted that the arrangement significantly expands itinerary options for the large Indian diaspora in the Gulf and long-haul transit passengers by streamlining connections across two established regional networks without the need for separate ticketing.
