Bahrain’s High Criminal Court has sentenced five individuals—three Bahrainis and two Afghans—to life imprisonment for plotting terrorist acts in coordination with Iran. The prosecution stated the group was involved in monitoring and photographing “vital facilities” for hostile foreign entities.
