Bahrain is hosting three days of joint military exercises involving armed forces from Gulf Cooperation Council member states. Designated as the Bahrain Shield drills, the exercises are aimed at unifying military concepts and reinforcing coordination and cooperation among GCC armed forces to confront ongoing regional security challenges.
