Bahrain LMRA intensifies nationwide labor compliance inspections to protect market stability

Bahrain’s Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has reported the successful completion of 3,879 inspection visits and 124 joint campaigns during May, resulting in the deportation of 324 irregular expatriate workers. The nationwide campaign, conducted in close coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and other government entities, is aimed at addressing labor violations and ensuring market competitiveness. The LMRA affirmed its commitment to intensifying inspection campaigns to address practices that negatively affect the economic and social security of the country, urging residents to support government efforts by reporting illegal practices.
