APM Terminals Bahrain, the operator of Khalifa Bin Salman Port, reported a significant drop in revenues and profits for the second quarter of 2026 due to ongoing regional shipping disruptions.
Container terminal revenue decreased by 25.4 percent, while marine services plunged by 42.7 percent compared to the same period last year. The company cited the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz as the primary driver behind the decline, though proactive cost optimization measures helped mitigate some of the financial impact.
