Dubai’s tourism industry watches summer bookings closely

Hotels, airlines and tour operators across Dubai are entering the summer season cautiously optimistic despite growing geopolitical uncertainty across the region.

Industry executives say booking volumes remain relatively stable, although some travellers — particularly from Europe and Asia — are increasingly monitoring Gulf airspace developments before confirming summer trips.

Dubai International Airport continues operating normally, while Emirates and flydubai maintain strong regional and international schedules.

Tourism remains one of the UAE economy’s most important sectors, and any prolonged regional instability could affect visitor confidence across the Gulf.

Still, analysts believe Dubai’s reputation as a global transit and leisure hub gives it a significant advantage over competing destinations.
