Qatar’s Ministry of Transport has completed the initial phase of operational trials for autonomous electric taxis, marking a significant milestone in its AI-driven Transport Master Plan 2050. The testing evaluated vehicle performance, regulatory compliance, traffic integration, and infrastructure readiness under local conditions.
