The United Arab Emirates has officially introduced progressive updates to its entry visa structures alongside enhanced private-sector labor enforcement rules to optimize the national professional market. Under new immigration guidelines, Indian nationals holding valid visas from the United States, United Kingdom, or Schengen zones are now eligible for streamlined visa-on-arrival processing, a move expected to significantly accelerate bilateral tourism and business travel. Concurrently, the nation has unveiled a dedicated “AI Specialist Visa” designed to attract top-tier global technical experts to accelerate the domestic digital economy. In parallel, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has activated Ministerial Resolution 340/2026, enforcing tighter Wage Protection System (WPS) audits. Private enterprises are strictly required to clear employee monthly salaries by the first of each month, with non-compliance triggering escalating administrative restrictions, permit suspensions, and operational fines to secure workplace stability.
