UAE strongly condemns ongoing attacks on Kuwait’s consulate in Basra

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has strongly condemned the ongoing attacks targeting the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait in the city of Basra, Iraq. The UAE categorically rejected these acts and emphasized the strict need to protect diplomatic missions in accordance with the Vienna Convention.

Authorities called on the Iraqi government to fulfill its legal obligations by ensuring the security of the consulate, conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the attacks, and taking necessary legal measures to hold the perpetrators accountable.
