The UAE has announced a month-long nationwide celebration for Emirati Women’s Day, commencing on August 28, 2026, and running until September 28.
Held under the theme ‘We Emerge Stronger and Better,’ the occasion will highlight the ongoing empowerment and achievements of Emirati women across state institutions and decision-making bodies. According to officials, women currently hold 50 percent of the seats in the Federal National Council and approximately 63 percent of leadership roles within the government sector.
