The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has extended its aviation safety advisory warning international carriers regarding operations in the airspace of the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman through August 31. The extension comes amid ongoing military exchanges and drone interceptions in the wider region.
Major Gulf carriers, including Emirates, Etihad, and Qatar Airways, continue to maintain scheduled flights with heightened monitoring and adjusted flight corridors. European regulators noted the advisory will remain under weekly review to ensure passenger safety across international transit routes.
