Bahrain launches ‘Thirst Quenchers 2026’ heat safety campaign for workers

Community organizations in Bahrain, in collaboration with the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and International Organization for Migration (IOM), launched the ‘Thirst Quenchers 2026’ initiative on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Volunteers distributed water, fruit, and hydration supplies to outdoor construction workers in Riffa to reinforce summer work safety protocols and highlight compliance with mid-day work ban regulations.
