Qatar’s electronic falcon services and CITES permit systems have received 24,734 applications since their launch in 2024, according to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
The ministry said around 67% of completed applications are processed on the same day when applicants submit all required documents.
Demand for the digital services has grown sharply. The platforms recorded 6,115 applications in 2024 and 12,475 in 2025, while another 6,144 applications were registered between January and September 6 this year.
The figures highlight the growing use of digital government services for activities linked to falconry and wildlife regulation, both of which have deep cultural significance in Qatar.
