The United Arab Emirates marked a historic milestone in its national infrastructure development as the first passenger train from Fujairah successfully arrived at the Mohamed bin Zayed City Station in Abu Dhabi at 7:15 AM on Tuesday. The landmark journey signifies a major leap forward for the UAE’s comprehensive rail network, connecting the eastern and western regions of the country.
The new passenger rail link is expected to significantly reduce travel times, boost regional economic integration, and provide a sustainable, efficient transport alternative for residents and commuters. Officials noted that commercial testing and infrastructure fine-tuning remain on track to expand regular network operations across the country.
