GCC Secretary-General strongly condemns Houthi attack on Saudi vessel Encelia

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi has strongly condemned the Houthi militia’s recent attack on the Saudi-owned commercial vessel ENCELIA in the Red Sea. He described the assault as a flagrant violation of international law and a serious threat to the freedom of maritime navigation.

Albudaiwi warned that the group’s ongoing threats against international maritime corridors represent a dangerous escalation that endangers regional stability and global trade. He reaffirmed the GCC’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, supporting all measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its security and vital national interests.
