Kuwait Ministry of Education adopts flexible summer shifts for administrative staff

Kuwait’s Ministry of Education has formally transitioned to its specialized summer operational schedule, modifying core professional requirements for administrative and educational cadres from June 1 through August 31, 2026. The seasonal administrative policy reduces the required daily professional shift to six hours to support staff welfare and maximize operational efficiency during the peak high-temperature season. The framework incorporates flexible morning arrival windows and schedules evening operational shifts to begin at 5:00 PM with standardized grace periods to avoid peak afternoon transit windows. Ministry officials emphasized that the strategic scheduling updates have been successfully integrated across regional offices to guarantee that public service delivery metrics and corporate educational management standards remain uninterrupted.
