Qatar has condemned the latest Houthi attacks targeting civilian and economic sites in Saudi Arabia.
The attacks affected several cities in the Kingdom’s south and left dozens of civilians injured, including women and children.
Doha’s position forms part of a wider GCC response to the escalation, with Kuwait, Bahrain and the GCC Secretariat also condemning the attacks and expressing solidarity with Saudi Arabia.
Qatar said attacks on civilian infrastructure and commercial shipping pose a threat to regional security and international navigation.
The coordinated Gulf response highlights the extent to which the latest Yemen escalation has become a wider regional security issue.
