Qatar observes 4-day public mourning following the passing of Father Amir

The Amiri Diwan has announced a four-day period of national mourning following the passing of the Father Amir, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. All ministries, public institutions, and government agencies have officially suspended operations, with employees scheduled to return to work on July 19. Flags across the state are flying at half-mast. Meanwhile, regional dignitaries, including the Crown Prince of Bahrain, have arrived at Lusail Palace to offer formal condolences to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
