Sharjah announces extensive two-month traffic diversions for infrastructure upgrades in key industrial areas

The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has declared a major temporary traffic diversion between Industrial Area 12 and Industrial Area 13, set to begin on Tuesday, June 30, and remain in place until August 30, 2026. The initiative is part of an extensive infrastructure maintenance and road network efficiency upgrade designed to improve long-term traffic flow across the emirate. Authorities are directing motorists to utilize approved alternative routes outlined in the newly released traffic management plan. Road users have been strongly urged to comply with the temporary signage and safety instructions to minimize congestion and ensure public safety during the construction period.
