UAE leaders mark Union Pledge Day to celebrate nation’s historic foundation

The United Arab Emirates is celebrating Union Pledge Day today, marking the historic signing of the declaration of the Union and the UAE Constitution on July 18, 1971. UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led the national tributes, stating the occasion remains a defining moment that continues to guide the country’s progress.

Taking to social media, leadership across the emirates renewed their commitment to the founding principles established by the late Sheikh Zayed and the founding Rulers. The national milestone celebrates 55 years of continuous unity, development, and progress.
